Open House: Pacific Coast Sign Supply
Pacific Coast Sign Supply opened their doors in January of 1962 to serve the sign industry, artists, and crafters, and today, they’re a Portland design staple. If you have never paid them a visit, you’re in for a treat! They sell, install, train, and repair large format printers and UV direct to object printers. They also carry supplies for artists, printers, sign and graphic industries, craft markets, and the garment customization industry. They're here to enable designers to create and communicate their graphics, artwork, and messages.
Their showroom is a delight—the walls are packed with creations from local artists and entrepreneurs, and are full of humor and whimsy. During their Design Week Portland Open House, Pacific Coast Sign Supply will have live demonstrations of their printers and engravers. Daniel, of One Tail at a Time, will use your pet photos to create images that you can take home, and there will be demos of a special printer that prints texture and full color directly on objects like wood, tile, glass, metal, and plastic. You can also check out the new tech station with a brand new product that prints directly on garments.
Don’t miss their vast supply of artist brushes, paint, and gold leafing products, for those who want to create by hand. Make sure you check out all of their DIY supplies after you’ve been inspired by the process demos!
Refreshments and light snacks will be on hand.
