Open House: Holst
Holst Architecture welcomes the opportunity to get to know you and share their work over drinks and light fare at their upcoming Open House. They always enjoy discussing their work and meeting fellow design professionals, so Design Week Portland is a natural fit. If you’re curious about what the day-to-day operations of an architecture firm look like, check out what Holst has going on. Guests will meet the design staff, including partners and other leadership. Expect to leave with a solid understanding of their work, project management style, and office culture.
Holst’s clients and consultants will also be present to help folks learn more about their inspiring projects. Emerging professionals who are curious about architecture and would like to network with a design team, this is for you!
When you arrive, you’ll be able to navigate through a slew of interactive installations and grab a taco or ice cream along the way. You will find a wall display of current and recently completed projects to browse, a VR station showing their LISAH project, an interactive display of the Portland Winter Lights Festival installation, and a coloring station. There will be a taco truck in the parking lot, and they’ll be serving drinks and ice cream inside.
Holst Architecture welcomes people to the office to learn more about their design process and to view recently completed and in-progress projects. Explore the LISAH project in VR, or dance along to the Portland Winter Lights Festival installation, “Electric Boogaloo.”
