Social Impact Lab: A Primer for the Re-Design

The Social Impact Lab is a design marathon focused on making a difference at a local level through social impact design. The latest cohort wrapped up in June 2020 and went virtual to accommodate stay-at-home orders. Attending this event will give insight into the Social Impact Lab approach and how it has iterated to serve local organizations. The most recent partnership was with New Avenues for Youth, a Portland-based non-profit that is dedicated to the prevention and intervention of youth homelessness.

If you are interested in using your design background and experience for social good — or if you want to learn about joining the group of denizen designers committed to systemic re-design — join us for our presentation, discussion, and Q&A.

NOTE: Ticket proceeds go towards social impact design projects. Please email event organizers for discount code if financial hardship is a consideration.
