Construct is an educational non-profit focused on using design to spread cultures of innovation and equitable deeper learning practices to all Oregon schools. We work with students, teachers, and school leaders to teach the skills of design as a creative problem solving method within the complex, human-centered world of education.
For this event, we will be highlighting the incredible work of one local high school design team. We will be hosting a panel of student designers who took on the challenge: How might we improve the experience for students of color on our campus? Students will reflect on both their process and prototypes while also exploring the unique challenges and unexpected delights of designing around issues of equity in schools.
Please join us for afternoon of student voices at the intersection of equity & design. Ticket holders will receive a zoom meeting link via email on Tuesday 8/4.
