Hey Sis World and Friends Presents: The Art of the Collab

Artist or not, we ALL have the desire to connect and collaborate. No matter where you’re at right now—new to the game, in need of a creative challenge, or looking for folks to join forces with—this workshop is designed for BIPOC creatives, femmes, and allies to learn how to elevate our craft through collaboration.

Collaboration comes with its advantages and challenges, especially in these digitally-connected days. That’s why Hey Sis World & friends are getting cozy (in our judgement-free Zoom zone) to guide you through the dos and don’ts of collaborating with friends, family, work-mates, and even artists and creatives you might only dream of working with one day.

The Experience:

The Creative Lineup:

This sliding-scale event is for the solo-preneur, the design school grad, the studio family and anyone in between. No experience necessary. Grab a friend and come hang. ❤️ If you are a non-BIPOC ally please be willing to listen and hold space ❤️

Hey Sis World X JOOP JOOP Creative

Hey Sis World is an IRL and digital community started by two Latinx sisters. We’re a multi-passionate entity just like YOU. A community, coaching session, and more than anything a REAL sisterhood. No BS. We are here to remind you : you already have what it takes to get what you want.

When you join HSW, you’re joining artists, designers, chefs, producers, programmers, athletes, who are fired up about flipping the industry upside down.

We are not fighting for a seat at the table, we are building our own damn table.

The Art of the Collab is thoughtfully supported by Dropbox Design, Portland's first and only radical creative agency Joop Joop Creative , Haus , and members of the greater Portland creative community who have volunteered their time and efforts to continue to bring impact during this revolutionary moment in history. Special thanks to Bing Bing Zhang , Nicole Fernandez, and Brandon Braun.
