Our Future Works

Our Future Works is a conversation and artmaking community event for priority BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) college students studying art and design in the Portland Metro Area — students attending community colleges, state universities, private colleges and beyond. Students will connect with local professionals in the creative industries (W+K and Instrument, among others) in a series of group conversations.

To keep conversations relevant to student interests — attendees will vote on topics at the beginning of the event. After our conversations, everyone is invited to celebrate, mingle and capture their response to our discussions in art making activities. Light refreshments will be provided.

OFW aims to connect BIPOC students to pros and peers to build their professional networks, be inspired and have fun!

*Please note that OFW is a priority BIPOC + allies student event.

Thanks to our supporters RACC (The Regional Arts and Culture Council) and W+K and our partners: Comma PSU, Design Portland, Emerging Leaders, PNCA and We are Here!

Site and more information on our professionals coming soon!

Festival Event registration opens on June 1, 2020.
