I lead the vision and brand inspiration for Toyouinspire Flowers. I'm a one women operation so I conduct all ordering, processing, designing, and delivery for my business. One aspect that I love about floral arranging is being able to express my creativity through nature. Through sharing my art with others, I’m able to lift spirits and cultivate joy which I think is critical. Flowers are also therapeutic and healing.
I was born and raised in Portland, OR. and began my early career in the floral industry at the age of 19. I worked for several shops/markets in Portland/Oregon before branching off as an independent floral designer. Aside from my floral pursuits I have a strong passion for youth education, community development, and equity. I graduated from PSU with two degrees in Arts & Letters/Liberal Studies and minors in Secondary Education/English. I have spent several years of my career along with flowers working in the above-mentioned areas.

SUSTAINING GREATNESS: This week we are occupying space on the Design Week platform to celebrate our recurring theme of “Sustaining Greatness”. Each highlight aligns with our dedication to amplifying Black and Indigenous People of Color and their voices. Everyone in this curation exudes excellence in their own way and we encourage you to take time to immerse yourself in appreciating their talents and entrepreneurship in addition to all the folx that exist within the Mercatus ecosystem.
