It is well-documented that the current global fashion industry is not environmentally sustainable – overconsumption by consumers and traditional practices of fashion brand companies continue to exhaust natural resources. Creating a circular fashion system, whereby resources are kept in use for as long as possible, is imperative for improving the environmental sustainability of industries using textiles.
A panel of industry professionals from Columbia Sportswear, Looptworks, The Renewal Workshop, and Flood Clothing will inspire creative thinking and share innovative strategies for creating a circular fashion system. Moderated by best-selling author, Leslie Davis Burns - Sustainability and Social Change in Fashion and The Business of Fashion.
