Evolution of the Napkin Sketch

Come together to create a collaborative, multi-media mural. Attendees will join forces to create large-scale wall art in our showroom using wall coverings, various fabrics, adhesive graphics, magnetic systems, metals, foams, SEG graphics, and projection mapping. A wheat paste area will provide a hands-on experience for those who want to get a little messy while making collaborative art.

Wall graphics are a vibrant and quick way to add pizazz to any space. Learn from industry experts everything you need to know in order to get the job done right!

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Do a site survey.
  • Prepare your files for grand format output with resolution recommendations for various applications and viewing distances.
  • Understand the importance of proper surface preparation and adhesion testing.
  • Review of various levels of wall finishes as well as proper paint/primer selection.
  • Material selection and installation methods

This will be an educational experience for attendees looking for firsthand knowledge about grand format graphics with an in-depth look at the process of taking a "napkin sketch" to a finished project. Attendees will come away with insight on new products for creating interior décor graphics, displays and wall graphics with an understanding of what details need to be considered to achieve a successful outcome.

New products will be shown including metallic wall coverings with a discussion on how to design to a metallic white point, highlighting the best applications for each product.

Appetizers and beverages will be provided. Each attendee will leave with gifts.

There will be a question and answer session.

All proceeds from ticket price will be donated to the Oregon Autism Society.
