Designing for Fun and Functionality: 99 Ways to Make a Pipe

In life you don’t always have the right tools or resources to complete a task or in some cases, you have some pot, but no way to smoke it. This interactive discussion will combine the principles of product design with materials & process, found objects and whatever tools that are right in front of you. Learn the hands-on process of applying problem solving skills to construct a pipe, that may not look pretty, but will function to the point of getting you high. Just always remember to bring a lighter.

Brett Stern is an industrial designer, author of 99 Ways to Make a Pipe and invents surgical instruments and implantable medical devices.

Attendees will get a complimentary copy of Stern's book, along with other goodies.

Festival Event registration is closed.
